Celtic can organise your accommodation for you with host families, in a student residence or in a shared house or flat.

Homestay

Homestay is one of the best ways to experience the British way of life! Living in a British home will help you to use your English skills in everyday situations with native speakers. Your host family will provide you with a private bedroom and desk, breakfast and dinner and you can choose a packed lunch as an option.

Our Homestay Coordinator regularly visits each home, so you can expect the highest standards. Most homestays are on average 15 minutes’ travelling time from Celtic . You can tell us your preferences, such as whether you like pets or want to stay with children and we will do our best to meet your needs. Before you leave home you will be sent a profile of your host family.
As well as placing our students with homestay families, our Homestay Coordinator is also available to talk to you if you need advice about adjusting to life in the UK. If for any reason you are not comfortable with the family we have chosen for you, we will move you to another family at no extra cost.

Residential accommodation

The residential accommodation provides students with excellent quality, city centre accommodation in a highly secure and comfortable environment. A lot of long term students will stay with a host family at the beginning of their trip and move to residential accommodation after a few months.

The building has 24-hour security and a manned reception. It also provides a spacious communal living area with digital TV and vending machines, an on-site laundry facility and bike storage.

House share

If you are looking for an independent, flexible lifestyle during your stay, we recommend shared accommodation. Shared houses are often located near to the city centre and are fully equipped with everything you will need.
You can choose single or double bedrooms with private or shared bathrooms and decide on your own meal plans – it’s your choice.
