As well a stunning 130-acre park, opposite the school, you will find:
The Millennium Stadium
Built to host the Rugby World Cup in 1999, the Millennium Stadium
is the biggest under-cover stadium in Europe and is widely regarded
as the best sports stadium in the world.
The Millennium Stadium replaced Wembley Arena, London as the host
of the FA Cup and other major events. It also holds international
Rugby matches and pop concerts amongst other things.
Cardiff Castle
Cardiff Castle is one of Wales's leading tourist attractions.
Situated in the very heart of the capital, alongside city centre
shopping and the magnificent Bute Park, the Castle's enchanting
fairytale towers conceal an elaborate and splendid interior.
Transportation
Cardiff is an extremely accessible city, benefiting from excellent road,
rail and air communications. Using the hourly high-speed train service,
London is reached within two hours. Our city centre location also means
that public transport is continuously available near to the school.
Cardiff's compact and pedestrianised city centre means it is easy to
find your way around. The local transportation is first class with
buses reaching all parts of the city every 10 minutes. The Central
train station is 10 minutes walk from the school and the city’s parks
make excellent cycle routes to help you get around. All these transport
facilities mean that Cardiff doesn’t suffer the congestion associated
with most major cities.
